Denove represented a client who was
being sued for intentional
interference with contractual
relations. The plaintiffs alleged
the actions of the defendant
interfered with their contract to
merge two corporations. The
plaintiffs alleged that their
economic damage was 14 million

were successful in proving that the
defendant did nothing wrong and that
the plaintiffs were entitled to no
damages. Click here to see one of the

Settlements
|
|
William Karns
and John Denove settled a medical malpractice case
against Los Angeles County/Harbor UCLA Hospital.
The case involved a twelve year old child who
developed bleeding in her brain following a
cheerleading accident. The bleeding, known as a
subdural hematoma, appeared to resolve, but
eventually expanded causing her brain to herniate.
She was left with severe cognitive and motor
deficits. The Defendant disputed liability, but due
to overwhelming evidence obtained by Mr. Karns
during
discovery, the County decided to settle the day
before trial.
